Kent Sorrells, Managing Director, focuses on gaining a deep understanding of a management team’s strategy. He has a demonstrated history of working in the venture capital and private equity industry and is a strong business development professional skilled in Operations Management, Management, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Start-ups, and Strategic Planning.  Kent uses his extensive experience along with the resources of The Stephens Group to help partners drive growth, scale and profitability. Kent joined The Stephens Group at its founding in 2006 and currently focuses on Opportunistic investments that do not fall into their core defined sectors.

In his personal life, Kent enjoys engaging in charitable work and currently serves on the board of several non-profit organizations.
