JON SEEGER
Marketing Strategist, Market Intelligence & Insight  |  IMA

John serves as a strategist on IMA’s marketing team, where he works to create research-driven commercial insurance content to be distributed to clients and prospective clients. John works closely with operations and sales teams in order to analyze industry trends, provide detailed insurance industry analysis, create in-depth reports, and develop enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. His emphasis is on leading IMA’s insurance thought leadership and assisting in corporate strategy.

John has spent the last decade of his career in various commercial insurance and finance roles primarily within the energy space. Prior to joining IMA, John served as an associate in Bank of Montreal’s energy capital markets division where he worked to find capital solutions for mid to large-cap companies operating in the upstream and midstream industries.  John holds a Bachelor of Arts from Texas State University and an MBA from Tulane University.

MIKE LISCHER
VP, Director of Surety  |  IMA

Mike joined IMA of Colorado, Inc. in 2011, as a Surety Account Executive.  Mike started his insurance career in 2003, and most recently worked as an underwriter at a major surety company in Denver.

Mike’s experience as a veteran underwriter, coupled with his extensive accounting background, creative and dynamic approach to problem solving, allows him to provide strategic guidance on client’s surety program and business.  His goals are to maximize a client’s surety capacity, and anticipate both the client’s and surety company’s needs, while effectively managing relationships between the two.

Mike graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Denver, and he earned a Master of Accountancy at the University of Denver in 2008.

ROBERT RABALAIS
Partner  |  Simpson Thacher

Robert is a Partner in the Houston office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and a member of the Firm’s Banking and Credit Practice and Energy and Infrastructure Practice. Robert’s practice focuses on a range of lending and capital markets transactions in the oil and gas exploration and production, midstream and related service sectors. He represents corporate borrowers and issuers, commercial banks and mezzanine lenders, institutional investors and insurance companies. Robert has been identified as “one of the country’s top energy financing lawyers” by Law360.

Robert received his J.D. from Louisiana State University Law Center and his B.S. from Louisiana State University. Robert is admitted to practice in Texas. Prior to joining the Firm, Robert was at the law firm of Vinson & Elkins for over 20 years.
