About the Presenters

Tim Batz
IMA, Inc.
Vice President, Risk Control

Tim began his career in insurance and risk control in 1983 and joined IMA in 2001. He is the primary contact for IMA’s construction and real estate practice’s safety and risk control services. Tim helps clients understand and manage their exposures to loss. His career has been devoted to servicing construction and real estate management clients, including general contractors, subcontractors, developers and property managers.

Michael Campo
IMA, Inc.
Executive Vice President, National Construction Practice Leader

Michael Campo is Executive Vice President and National Construction Practice Leader for IMA, Inc. and brings nearly 30 years of construction insurance expertise. Originally from Kansas City, Michael’s credentials include earning his Chartered Casualty Property Underwriter (CPCU), Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Underwriting (AU). He is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University and received an MBA focusing in entrepreneurial studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is a regular presenter at insurance and construction conferences and has taught insurance classes at UMKC’s Henry W. Bloch School of Management.

Nathan Miller
IMA, Inc.
Risk Control Team Leader

Nathan has a Master’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety and is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Nathan was a site safety representative for a large national mechanical contractor performing industrial plant turnarounds. Nathan is a subject matter expert in the area of construction defect and works with specialty sub-contractors such as electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical contractors. He has strong knowledge in OSHA and MSHA standards as well as DOT compliance. Nathan has over 14 years of experience in Risk Control consulting in the insurance industry.
