Jon
Hammond

President, Florida

Jon serves as President of IMA Florida. Before partnering with IMA, Jon served as chief operating officer at Wallace, Welch & Willingham Insurance Group (W3) where his focus was on strategic and tactical management of agency growth and profitability objectives.

Jon began his insurance career with W3 in 2000 as a Commercial Insurance
Advisor. At that time, W3 was a $5M agency and Jon had just graduated from the
University of Florida with a degree in Decision and Information Sciences. His sales accomplishments include recognition in 2004 as a Senior Producer of the Year by Marsh Berry. He became a shareholder in 2005.

In 2008, W3 revenue was $12M. As the financial crisis of 2008, W3 leadership saw
opportunity in the crisis and Jon was appointed sales manager responsible for the growth of the Commercial and Employee Benefits divisions. Jon was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2015, expanding his responsibilities to include agency personnel, operations, budgeting in addition to top line revenue growth. W3 revenue at that time was $15M. Promoted to president in 2022, Jon maintained the same responsibilities for growth and profitability with a higher visibility in the community.

Recently, Christina Morris was promoted to COO allowing Jon to prioritize his time on agency growth initiatives. As a leader, Jon embraces our “Raving Fan’s” culture which starts with meeting and exceeding our employees’ needs and expectations. Raving fan employees are the foundation for raving fan clients. W3 has been recognized as a Best Places to Work 15 times since 2015.

Past social and civic duties include a 2017 graduate of Leadership St Petersburg
and member of the board of trustees for the Alpha Omega chapter of the Alpha
Tau Omega fraternity at the University of Florida. Currently, he is the co-chair of the Investor Relations committee for the St Petersburg Economic Development Corp. Jon and his wife Amy reside in St Petersburg, with their two children.
