Michael Gregg is President of IMA Advisors, IMA Advisory Services, and IMA Private Wealth, based in our Denver office.  He joined IMA in 2023 to lead the creation of IMA Advisors, a new division focused on delivering integrated financial services that complement the firm’s core insurance brokerage offerings.  That division currently includes IMA Retirement, IMA Private Wealth, Syntrinsic (a boutique investment advisor to nonprofits, foundations & endowments), and RedRidge (a financial diligence firm).

Prior to joining IMA, his career included senior leadership roles in wealth management, asset management, and insurance at places including BlackRock, AXA Group, The Hartford, and most recently, Partners Group, where he was served on multiple portfolio company boards, in addition to his roles on the private equity and private debt investment committees.  He began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he spent the bulk of his first professional decade.

He serves on the Board and is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain, promoting financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship in middle and high school students.  Outside of his professional endeavors, his activities include various sports, music, and travel.  He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics and Psychology from Williams College.  He holds the state registration Series 65 and the following authorities in the State of Colorado: Property, Casualty.
