While many industries faced challenges in 2020, few were impacted by COVID-19 quite like the drinking places, restaurants, and retail sectors (referred to collectively as “hospitality” here on out). Though all three industries had many struggles to overcome, such as mask mandates, PPE requirements, curfews, forced closures, and capacity requirements, the retail sector’s COVID-19 experience was very different than the drinking places and restaurant’s experience.
