Tim Burke | Moderator
Tim joined IMA in 2015 to start a dedicated Cyber Risk practice. He counsels clients on this new and emerging area of risk. As the practice leader he formulates strategy with key trading partners and establishing loss control services.
Tim has over 25 years of insurance experience –22 of which specific to Technology E&O and Cyber risk. He began his specialization in this niche area at AIG in launching the first cyber coverage. Tim was a broker for 12 years, most recently serving as the West Zone E&O and Cyber Practice Leader for Marsh USA.
In his free time Tim enjoys spending time with his three young children and beautiful wife.
Bret Ommodt | IMA
As a Sr. Claims Executive, Bret manages the claims process and serves as an advocate on behalf of our clients. His overall responsibility is to see that our claims reporting and advocacy services are conducted expediently and that final resolutions are fair and reasonable.
Bret has more than 10 years of experience adjusting property and casualty claims for multiple carriers, including training and mentoring entry-level adjusters on claims handling best practices and coverage evaluation. He has experience with first and third-party property and casualty losses across both personal and commercial lines. The bulk of his experience involves first-party property, crime, and cyber losses with complex coverage concerns. His background as an adjuster ensures our clients are extracting all the benefits due from the policy when analyzing claims and negotiating with carriers. He helps our clients with the process of collecting and submitting the necessary information and documentation for claims resolution.
Before IMA PNW in 2020,Bret worked as an adjuster for multiple insurance carriers handling first-party property losses across multiple states. He is a licensed property and casualty insurance agent and received a B.S. in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also obtained the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation from The Institutes Risk and Insurance Knowledge Group
Anne Juntunen | Coalition
Anne Juntunen is a Senior Manager with Coalition. Her role includes consulting with Coalition’s stakeholders on coverage issues, as well as managing a team of claims handlers across North America. A former coverage lawyer, Anne came to Coalition from a career in private practice, where she advised clients on specialty coverage matters in both the United States and Canada. Anne has written and spoken about insurance coverage issues ranging from claims handling best practices to coverage for digital assets. She earned her JD from Washington University in St. Louis.
Leeann Nicolo | Coalition Consultant
Leeann is a seasoned expert in digital forensics and cyber investigations, with over a decade of experience supporting complex cases involving ransomware, phishing, hacking, data breaches, trade secret theft, and insider threats. She brings deep technical expertise in Windows enterprise forensics, mobile device analysis, business email compromise investigations, cloud security, and ransomware response. Leeann has contributed to hundreds of legal matters, delivering high-quality forensic reports and serving as an expert witness in litigation and regulatory proceedings. She currently supports the Coalition Incident Response team, helping the team navigate and manage incidents all over the world. Leeann is a leader in the field, holding the SANS Lethal Forensicator Coin and serving on the GIAC Advisory Board, reflecting her commitment to advancing cybersecurity and forensic science.
