ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values

- Build new business submission shells by creating EPIC and Indio accounts from Salesforce white sheets and other intake materials.
- Complete policy setups in EPIC, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with agency and carrier standards.
- Enter detailed policy data in EPIC, including but not limited to coverage limits, vehicle schedules, driver lists, and property schedules of values (SOVs).
- Prepare and complete ACORD forms in support of new business submissions and policy placement.
- Prepare and process Broker of Record (BOR) requests, including required documentation and system updates.
- Process and manage certificate of insurance requests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Generate client‑facing proposals and coverage comparisons to support placement and producer review.
- Prepare and submit E&S surplus lines documentation and tax filings in accordance with state requirements when required.
- Maintain regular communication with carrier partners and underwriters, staying current on appetites, guidelines, and process changes.
- Support new business placement overflow during peak production periods, assisting with submissions from start to finish as required. Approximately 25% of the role.
- Perform online carrier rating and quoting at the direction of placement team.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity, documentation accuracy, and workflow organization across all systems and platforms.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:
- 1 to 3 number of years of similar or related insurance experience
- Systems skills – Experience with EPIC and Indio preferred
- Experience with MS Office products required (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Copilot)
- Attain and maintain professional license – Property & Casualty license
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and high‑volume workflows across multiple offices
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and compliance
