What You'll Do
- Develop and execute communication plans that clearly articulate objectives, strategies and tactics, and align with/promote IMA’s vision
- Draft compelling content that highlights IMA’s associates and their incredible stories
- Support IMA Central, our intranet, with day-to-day project management, content development, scheduling and creation of web pages
- Manage editorial calendar and communications channels, including scheduling content across channels
- Write, edit, and develop content that is clear, concise and grammatically correct and aligns with IMA’s internal brand
- Collaborate with various stakeholders on communications projects and collateral creation and implementation
- Participate in other projects and tasks as needed
- Assists with general administrative duties for the team
- Support and demonstrate IMA’s core values
- Value and understand the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion among all IMA associates
You Should Have
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in internal communications, public relations, or a related field
- Experience supporting internal communications efforts including Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Sales and/or Marketing
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related degree
- Superior verbal, writing, editing and proofreading skills (writing samples and writing test are part of the interview process)
- Ability to effectively organize material, distill complex ideas and write lively and appealing content in a variety of voices
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Project management skills and the ability to quickly shift priorities based on business needs
- Well-honed interpersonal and relationship-building skills that facilitate strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including executive management
- Expertise in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of email marketing platforms, intranet content management systems and digital signage software
- Basic knowledge of video editing software
- Ability to work independently regarding matters of significance
