IMA announces Kendall Empey as President, Salt Lake City and Utah Market Leader

IMA Financial Group, A North American insurance brokerage firm broker defining the future of insurance through comprehensive, consultative risk and wealth management advisement services, is announcing new leadership in Salt Lake City as of February 1, 2025 by naming Kendall Empey as President, Salt Lake City and Market Leader for Utah. With decades of experience in operations and running both large and regional brokers to help them scale, Empey is a perfect match for the entrepreneurial spirit of IMA’s Salt Lake location and will be laser focused on continuing to enhance both the associate and client experience.
In this role, Empey will oversee employee benefits and property & casualty (P&C) activities in the Utah market, drive revenue growth, and integrate teams to collaborate more effectively across the organization. Empey has been with IMA for more than two years, but his extensive experience running insurance firms and building collaborative company cultures helped him stand out in a talented pool of candidates.
