Sandy Harvath brings nearly 30 years of insurance experience as IMA Select president and is responsible for the region’s overall performance.

Since joining IMA in 2003, Sandy’s customer-first philosophy has helped grow the company into one of the largest insurance brokers in the country. Before moving to Colorado, she worked on the East Coast in risk control, underwriting and marketing with national and regional carriers.

Most recently, Sandy served as senior vice president of Commercial Lines for IMA’s Colorado market.

Sandy is a Pennsylvania native and received a bachelor’s of science in Safety Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She’s earned the professional designations of Associate Risk Management and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist and is a Certified Safety Professional.

Sandy thrives on the relationships built through her work and enjoys the ever-changing landscape of the insurance industry. In the community, Sandy volunteers for the Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies, regularly serves meals to low-income seniors at Volunteers of America and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Warren Village, which helps single-parent families achieve self-sufficiency.
