What You'll Do
- Participate as a team leader by providing support to all levels in various capacities
- Process renewals, new business, cancellations and policy amendments/changes
- Responsible for marketing and completing proposals/summaries of insurance in an accurate and timely manner
- Provide technical review of renewals, proposals, summaries of insurance, and new business quotes
- Responsible for account rounding
- Check policy coverages, changes and amendments for accuracy and relevance
- Maintain client profiles, policies, activities, and documentation of all correspondence and changes in agency management system
- Adhere to policies and procedures set forth for the department
- Responsible for timely communication and exceptional internal and external client services
- Behavior consistently reflects the best interest of the clients and IMA
- Learn, demonstrate and proactively use corporate language and models
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners, carriers and vendors
- Attend company and department meetings, position-related seminars/classes, client meetings, carrier functions, and other events as required
- Stay current with new products and systems
- Pursue a program for personal and professional development, including appropriate designations, attending educational classes in your specific field and those offered by IMA in communication, leadership, corporate language and other classes as recommended by leaders
You Should Have
- College degree preferred. 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to handle large, complex accounts
- Subject matter expert of middle and HNW markets
- Demonstrated ability to manage and delegate, negotiate with carriers, and direct 0client decisions
- Leads by example by demonstrating professional behavior
- Strategic and consultative approach
- In-depth knowledge of risk management industry
- Ability to work onsite in Pasadena, CA at least 3 days per week
