Awards: IMA Named Civic 50

TOPICS INCLUDE

IMA has been named a top company on the 2020 Civic 50 Colorado list by CSR Solutions of Colorado in partnership with Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service.

This award recognizes IMA as one of the 50 most community-minded companies in Colorado determined by an independently administered and scored survey. Modeled after Points of Light’s national program, the award provides a national standard for superior corporate citizenship and showcases how companies can use their time, skills and resources to impact local communities.

The Civic 50 Colorado is the local version of the national initiative, and it honors both public and private companies operating in Colorado based on an assessment of four dimensions of civic engagement: investment (strategically aligning resources); integration (unifying business functions); impact (measuring outcomes); and, inspiration (engaging others to create a movement, not just a moment).

Believing that companies can be drivers of transformative social change, the Civic 50 Colorado serves as a benchmarking tool and platform for sharing best practices in corporate citizenship.

“IMA has a long-standing reputation for its community work,” said Ruth Rohs, SVP of Corporate Communications and Executive Director of the IMA Foundation. “This award is because of our associates who find ways to give back day in and day out and the company’s commitment to the IMA Foundation, associate volunteer opportunities, diversity, equity and inclusion and so much more. We are very fortunate to be a part of a company that does this work for all the right reasons.”

We’re honored to receive this distinction for the second time in the two-year history of the award and to be recognized for IMA’s continued efforts to connect our business values to the needs of our community.
