The Department of Labor (DOL) has published its final rule indexing various penalties for 2018. While it
covers a number of areas, including mining, the Fair Labor Standards Act, OSHA, and others, below we
will summarize a few of the DOL penalties most relevant to non-retirement employee benefit plans.
