Tim Degner

Tim Degner joined the IMA Financial Group in 2003 as an account executive working with commercial insurance risks. In 2009 Tim moved to IMA Select as one of the first employees of the organization. Tim works with local companies to provide business insurance solutions and strategies.
Prior to working with the IMA Financial Group, Tim started in the insurance business in 1993 working as an account executive and sales executive for Universal Underwriters — a Kansas City-based insurance company. Tim also worked in the capacity of sales manager for Universal Underwriters before going to work for a national broker in 2001.
Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Kansas and has his ARM designation(Associate in Risk Management).
