Patrick Datz

Patrick Datz joined IMA Select in October of 2015. Patrick works with both successful individuals and small business owners, creating risk management strategies to properly insure his clients. Prior to IMA Select, Patrick owned an award winning insurance agency located in Austin, TX. Prior to his entrance into the insurance industry, Patrick played golf professionally on multiple mini tours around the country. He then served as the assistant men’s golf coach at Iowa State University.
He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and a Master’s degree in Applied Kinesiology. He was also a member of the men’s golf team, including the 2007 Big Ten Championship team. Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife Anne, their dog Wallace, and playing golf competitively both locally and nationally.
