SPEAKERS

Mitch Mitchem

CEO, HIVE Interactive

Mitch Mitchem is the CEO of HIVE Interactive, a company at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence with human skills development. A straight-talking entrepreneur and tech realist, Mitch has guided his company, HIVE, to train over 27,000 people on AI’s real-world applications, not in theory, but in practice. His insights cut through the hype, revealing how AI is truly affecting jobs, businesses, and everyday people. He is critical of AI companies who flippantly want to destroy jobs with automation and believes there is a better path.

Mitch is not a Silicon Valley insider, he’s a hands-on leader who built, operated the CEO, and sold a successful dating app which grow from 0 to 300k users in 11 months, worked in human development for over 15 years, and has spoken at over 2,800 conferences in his career on human development, behavior change, tech, and leadership. He’s seen firsthand that most Americans don’t fear AI, they just don’t trust those designing it or the narrative of replacing all jobs. Instead of blind automation, he advocates for an AI-augmented future where humans keep their agency, thrive at work, control the AI tools, and expand their human experience.

Mitch is also married and a father of four (ages 20, 19, 16, and 2.5) and believes in AI as a competitive advantage for America’s students and workforce if we train people to use it right. His company, HIVE Interactive, helps businesses and individuals harness AI without sacrificing personal freedom, jobs, or common sense.

Mitch’s mission, and that of the HIVE, is to rekindle the passion and drive that makes us uniquely human while harnessing AI’s incredible potential to elevate our lives. As we navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of technology, Mitch emphasizes the irreplaceable value of the human spirit. His groundbreaking TED talk on the impact of over-customized technology on human culture highlights his foresight and expertise in the future of everything. He always asks each person he meets on the topics, what makes us human” and then he helps them frame the answer.
